The South Jersey Libertarian Party (SJLP) is the official Southern New Jersey affiliate of the New Jersey Libertarian Party. We cover the counties of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem.
Formed in March 2016, we’re a group of folks who are part of the third largest political party in the United States and believe in maximum personal freedom and minimum government interference. We think individuals should control their own lives, make their own choices, and not be forced to sacrifice their values or property for someone else’s benefit. Live and let live—without the state constantly sticking its nose in.
If you’re fed up with the two major parties, tired of endless taxes, regulations, and wars, and you value liberty, personal responsibility, and good with the Non-Aggression Principle, you’re probably one of us.
We hold regular meetings, share news and commentary on liberty-related issues, support Libertarian candidates, and work to spread the message of freedom right here in South Jersey. Libertarians are practical. We know that we can’t make the world perfect. But, it can be better. The Libertarian Party is the only political party that respects your rights as a unique and competent individual. We want a system that allows all people to choose what they want from life — that lets us live, work, play, and dream our own way.
